Further to an invitation from H.S.H. The Sovereign Prince 
accepted unanimously by its members during their meeting 
held on 13th March 2007, the 10th Special Session of the 
UNEP Governing Council / Global Ministerial Environment 
Forum, preceded on 19th February by the 9th Session of 
the Global Civil Society Forum, will be held in 

Monaco from 20th to 22nd February 2008. 

The theme chosen for this session will be 

“Globalisation 
and Environment: 

financing the transition to a sustainable
